A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE
BEGINNINGS
Cold Creek Construction, Ltd. was created in December 2005 by Rick Helmcamp and Judd Henderson.
The company first trimmed and cleared right-of-ways for A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. on highway projects throughout East Texas.
A DIVERSITY OF PROJECTS
LEADS TO STEADY GROWTH
Electrical Cooperatives opened the door for right-of-way maintenance services and between 2006 & 2007 Cold Creek trimmed and mowed over 150 miles of service lines. In correlation with A.L. Helmcamp, Inc., the company helped clean Texas highways in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike in 2008 for Nacogdoches, Angelina, Houston and Trinity Counties.
Haynesville Shale activity opened the door for Cold Creek to start clearing ROWs in the Oil Field Industry. Soon many pipeline contractors were utilizing Cold Creek as their mulching contractor.
A SOLID REPUTATION FOR QUALITY
Because of the quality of work, word got out and started a web of contacts and relationships throughout the Oil Field Industry. With the support of A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. and a solid reputation, doors began to open in the Eagle Ford Shale.
EXPANSION
In 2010, Cold Creek Construction expanded its horizons and opened an office in Asherton, TX. The two companies promoted a full package of mulching, dirt work and road construction.
A NEW PARTNER
Cold Creek Construction took on a new partner in 2011, Chad Thomas.
Chad brought a new dynamic to the company and he supported the dirt work and road work that was gaining momentum. Midstream groups and producers looking for contractors with knowledge of density control, moisture control and utilization of grade control equipment became Cold Creek’s key customers. Our quality of work, ability to meet schedules, professionalism and honesty helped grow our customer base.
MORE OFFICES ACROSS TEXAS
Cold Creek added offices in Pawnee, TX, Carrizo Springs, TX, and San Angelo, TX to better serve the growing requests of our expanding customer base.
